District Energy Plant Operations operates and maintains the District Energy Plants and their distribution systems that provide chilled water, hot water and steam for building cooling, heating, hot domestic water, and steam processes. Plants under their preview include:

Steam System. The Steam System is an underground closed loop system. 100 psi steam is produced and sent to various buildings on campus for heat, domestic hot water, and processes. Once the energy is transferred, the steam is condensed and pumped back to the plant to be heated for use again. Plant capacity is as follows:
