The Facilities Management Maintenance Department is divided into four zones which are responsible for general building maintenance across campus. Each zone is composed of experts within the following trades: carpentry, electrical, mechanical, paint, plumbing

Please call 844-4477 with Housing problems, or submit a work order to Housing.
Automotive: Maintains and repairs all Facilities Management vehicles and repairs other university-owned vehicles as requested.
Fabrication: Creates metal parts and structures to be used on construction projects across campus.
Access Control: Access Control is located on the bottom floor of the Stadium Parking Deck.

and issue keys - Provide cores for doors and padlocks
- Provide and repair locks
- Provide, install and maintain card readers, proximity readers, and biometric readers
- Repair and replacement of door hardware to ensure doors are working properly

Heavy Construction: Provides repair and replacement of university-owned streets, sidewalks
In-House Construction is dedicated to providing quality workmanship while maintaining the highest safety standards, and professional management with minimal disruption of the daily activities in the departments where the work is being performed. It performs small to medium size construction projects on Auburn University property. Its multi-skilled
- Technical Advisory Group: Provides in-depth technical support in solving difficult electrical, plumbing, and mechanical facility problems encountered by the Maintenance Zones and Shops. This team is expected to be the most knowledgeable experts on campus within their respective trades/fields. In addition to technical support, this group is responsible for design review, construction inspection, quality control, and training programs for their respective trades.
- Preventative Maintenance: Responsible for the successful completion of quarterly preventative maintenance activities to building systems in order to prolong the expected lifespan of the system as well as increase system reliability.
