Materials Management maintains receiving warehouse operations at Building Six for Facilities Management. Functions include material buying with online system generated material request processes. Inventory Control with MRO products in support of Facilities Departments and campus needs with quick response for service and maintenance supplies, thus providing a safe, secure and comfortable campus for students, faculty and staff.

Some of the common functions and services provided by Materials Management are:

  • Provide Maintenance, Repair and Operations materials including HVAC, Electrical, Building Material, Security, Plumbing, Paint, Lighting, Automotive, Custodial, Preventive Maintenance and Utility Supplies.
  • Accounting processes including Invoice verification and Purchase order Disbursement. Invoice authorization for payment, PO requisitions for inventory and non-stock materials. Annual material contracts for supply orders. Capital Assets and Equipment Inventory Verification.
  • Provide Campus-wide Motorfreight Shipping from our Warehouse Operations Campus-wide walk in counter sales for immediate inventory supply needs. Data entry of material orders into (AIM) Facilities system and online (ESP) reconciliation report daily.
