Mechanical Trades

Mechanical Trades is the group responsible for building comfort and functionality including electrical and plumbing. Mechanical Trades is also responsible for the upkeep of many university owned vehicles.

Departments under Mechanical Trades include:

Automotive Shop maintains and repairs all Facilities Management vehicles and repairs other university owned vehicles as requested.

Electrical Shop supplies electrical service within buildings throughout campus.

Mechanical Shop provides heating, cooling, ventilation, duct installation and repair to the campus.

Plumbing Shop maintains all plumbing fixtures in restrooms, laboratories and kitchen areas.
