Join Auburn Athletics, the Office of Sustainability, Coca-Cola, Waste Reduction & Recycling Department, Student Government Association, 91.1 WEGL, Student Alumni Association, and Eagle Eye for the Auburn Goes Green Game on September 14 to celebrate Auburn University's commitment to sustainability. Sustainability Initiatives will be highlighted on Game Day through activities at Fan Fest, on-field recognition for the Spirit of Sustainability award winners, and much more!

You can make a big impact on Game Day by taking 5 simple steps to green your Game Day:

  • Choose aluminum cans rather than glass containers, and avoid styrofoam and plastic cups. Auburn only recycles plastic bottles and aluminum cans on Game Day, so pick items you can recycle!
  • Look for the volunteers in bright yellow shirts distributing recycling bags for your tailgate and look for the 300+ recycling bins on campus to give your plastic bottles and aluminum cans a new life.
  • Ditch the disposable and pick the reusable to save money and waste less. Examples include reusable plates, cups, utensils, tablecloths, etc.
  • Reduce air pollution on Game Day by riding Tiger Transit and carpooling with others.
  • Shop at your local farmer's market for your Game Day spread to support local business and have the freshest food.
