Custodial Services

• Dust Mop Floors - Thoroughly dust mop all traffic areas, including classroom areas and corridors using a chemically treated mop, which will reduce airborne dust
• Damp Mop Floors - Wet or damp mop floors with a germicidal solution
• Spot Clean and Floors - Check floors corridors, removing spots and spillage
• Spot Clean and Sanitize - Spot clean and sanitize walls, windowsills and doors, Remove finger prints and smudges on interior glass door panels and low-level kick plates
• Waste Basket Clean - Empty and clean waste baskets by washing or wiping down internal and external receptacles using a germicidal solutions, re-line waste baskets
• Drinking Fountains - Damp clean and sanitize water drinking fountains
• Restrooms - Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures inside and out, clean mirrors, fill dispenser items such as toilet tissue, paper towels, and soap as needed, clean floor with germicidal solution and damp wipe ledges, empty waste baskets, wash or damp clean as needed, and replace liners, spot clean and sanitize walls, doors, and doorknobs, remove fingerprints and smudges. In addition to detail cleaning using the Highly Touched Surfaces Disinfection Checklist, the restrooms will be spot checked throughout the day and evening. Giving such care as needed to maintain the highest possible standard of cleanliness at all times.
• Removal of Trash - Trash will be removed from all areas at regular intervals and delivered to the trash pick-up area
• Corridors, Lobbies and Entrances - Thoroughly dust mop floors, using a treated mop, wipe down and polish furniture, vacuum carpets and mats.
• Entrances - Spot clean glass doors and inspect for smudges, sweep entrance floor area as needed, vacuum carpet, empty ash urns, sweep sidewalk directly in front of entrances (15 feet out).
