The Classroom Building Coordinators oversee the daily operations of the assigned classroom buildings to ensure the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained and operated at a high level. The key function of the Classroom Building Coordinators is to provide the best possible learning, teaching and research environment for the students, faculty and staff.

Listed below are some of the common functions and services provided by the Classroom Building Coordinators:

• Act as a single point of contact that all building occupants may address emergencies and general concerns
  
  
• Serve as safety coordinator
  
  
• Maintain a reservation system for public use areas of campus buildings
  
  
• Inspect assigned campus buildings on a regular basis ensuring safety and appearance issues are adequately addressed
  
  
• Submit work orders for repairs and replacements as required
  
  
• Assist occupants with planned renovations
