Asbestos Control assists in the repair of pipes, tanks and other places where asbestos containing material is found. The Asbestos Control tests for and removes asbestos containing material (ACM) as needed for the safe operation of university systems. All work is done according to State, Federal and University removal regulations. Above all, the Asbestos Control is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty and staff. 
Some common functions and services provided by Asbestos Control are:
- Floor tile removal/replacement
- Ceiling tile removal/repair/replacement
- Asbestos containing material (ACM) removal as needed
- Proper disposal of asbestos containing material (ACM) waste
- Mold remediation projects
