The goal of Energy Management at Auburn University is to efficiently manage and reduce the consumption of energy. This will take place without compromising the educational environment or the integrity of the buildings themselves.
Some of the common functions and services provided by Energy Management are:
- Generate and analyze energy data.
- Develop energy saving projects.
- Implement energy projects.
- Develop procedures to help save energy.
- Monitor building systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Provide technical review for construction projects on campus.
- Act as a liaison to the Utility companies.
- Help promote Auburn University 's energy management program.
- Help to educate individuals on campus on how they can reduce energy consumption.
