Cardboard Recycling

Recycle flattened corrugated cardboard boxes, boxboard such as tissue boxes, cereal boxes, brown and gray paper products such as grocery bags, paper packing, toilet tissue and paper towel cores at the locations shown below.  Facilities Division, McAdory Hall, Hoerlein Hall, Greene Hall, and the Lowder Business Building have a dumpster marked for cardboard recycling and equipped with a slot opening to encourage flattening the boxes; Haley Center has a baler on the dock where flattened cardboard can be placed.

Recycle Trailer Schedule

The recycle trailer is moved and emptied as needed on Monday mornings and may not be available until sometime during the afternoon. Click to see the Recycle Trailer Schedule.

Items Accepted by The Recycle Trailer : mixed office paper (includes white, colored paper, card stock, envelopes, manilia folders, however no other colored folders); paper clips, staples, binder clips, and Post-Its (not desired, but can be accepted).


Records or Confidential Information Destruction

Need help in destroying old records or confidential material?  Check this here for further information, or contact Donald Addison, 844-9461.  Shredding services are scheduled approximately every 3-4 months.  Notification of the next opportunity to destroy confidential records will be provided via e-mail to the AUadmin, AUstaff, and AUfaculty list serves.
