David DiPofi, Scott Fuller, and David Roberson
for Successfully Completing the Village Housing Project
The Village Housing project was Auburn University’s single largest project ever. The scope of this $92 million project was to house over 1,700 students in an attractive and centrally located complex. Given this challenge, the Facilities Management team of David DiPofi, Scott Fuller, and David Roberson did an exceptional job working with the contractors, the construction manager, the architect, and the clients to successfully complete this project in time for student occupancy for the 2009-2010 school year. This tremendous effort required them to overcome many very difficult and challenging technical and contractual obstacles to keep the entire project team together and focused on the goal of completing the project for the students. Despite these challenges, they strongly led the team to overcome past problems and finish on schedule. Without their stellar work, this project would not have completed on time, thus negatively impacting hundreds of students. Thanks to their excellent work, the Village Housing project is now considered a huge success and a high quality housing complex for Auburn students.
