The Office of Campus Planning provides four primary services to Auburn University:
1. Capital Projects Planning
- Management of capital construction projects from
inception through schematic design.
- Validation of requirements for capital project requests.
- Development and justification of conceptual budgets and facility programs
for capital projects.
- Development of architectural programming
for capital projects.
- Development and maintenance of the capital projects schedule.

2. Master Planning
- Continual advancement of the Comprehensive Campus Master Plan.
- Support to the Senior Administration relative to master planning options and decisions.
- Development of various plans and reports that support the Comprehensive Campus Master Plan (i.e. Image & Character of Auburn University, Comprehensive Housing Plan, Transportation Plan,
Infrastructure Plan, Landscape Plan, etc.) in preparation, implementation and enforcement.
3. Infrastructure
- Planning, management and maintenance of the infrastructure projects.
- Support to the Traffic & Parking Committee.
4. Real Estate Planning
- Maintenance of the inventory of real estate owned/leased by Auburn University.
- Land acquisition, disposition, exchange and planning.
