Mission Statement
The Office of Student Financial Services serves as an Institutional Support function of the University to provide assistance in the University's pursuit of its mission of instruction, research, and outreach. This office acts:
- To provide students, parents, and other constituencies with an effective and efficient service with which to conduct their financial affairs with the University.
- To provide a service to all University departments that will ensure their funds are deposited and recorded properly, and in a timely manner.
- To act as a conduit for the Auburn University Foundation and Auburn Alumni Association to process gifts and donations which support Auburn University.

A new web site has been launched for Student Financial Aid. The new site will offer expanded information and services.

Reorganization
Student Financial Aid and the Bursar and Special Funds Accounting are now a new Business Office department, Student Financial Services. Mike Reynolds will serve as director at their new location in Mary Martin Hall. This combination will better serve students by providing centralized financial services. Departmental revenue collections will still be handled by the newly created department. The
University Scholarship Office, formerly within the Office of Financial Aid remains within the Division of Student Affairs.
