Mission Statement
The role of Property Services is to provide administrative support services to programs that are required by State and Federal regulations, to support the educational process by effective communication of policies and procedures and provide specific services to support the University's mission.

The Property Services Department reports to the Controller's Office and is accountable for the Fixed Asset System and the maintenance of all departmental inventories at Auburn University. Keeping track of Auburn University's fixed assets - machines, computers, office furniture, vehicles and the like is necessary for insurance, security, capitalization, cost accounting, state regulations, Federal regulations and a host of other reasons.
