Who was awarded the new copier contract?
What are the terms of the contract?
3 years, with the option for 2 one-year extensions; effective March 1, 2012. This is a cost per copy contract.
Will we have to do PO's for this contract?
No, all invoices will be paid without a PO, you will reference the bid number and the account to be charged on all of your vouchers.
Do you have to immediately switch to the new copier vendor?
Yes and No, if you are currently in a contract with another vendor then you will wait until that contract expires before switching to this contract. If you are currently a CopyCat customer, your copy machine will be scheduled for replacement.
What brand of copiers will they be using?
Canon. Canon currently holds the #1 position overall in the Copier Industry according to a survey conducted by Gartner, Inc.
How will we know which Canon machines will better suit our needs?
A representative from Oce' Imagistics will be happy to sit down with you to discuss your needs based on your past/current copier usage.

Is there a maintenance charge included with this contract:
No, you will only pay for staples and paper. All toner and parts for repairs are included in the cost per copy price.
Who do I contact first if I need a copier?
Burnette Tolbert in PPS at 4-3572, firstname.lastname@example.org; Burnette has a list of departments who are in need of a new copy machine. She sends an updated list to William Brooks daily for his use in working with departments.
Will these machines be networked?
Yes, if you do not currently have that capability in your office, please contact your IT provider.
Once machines are ordered, how quickly can we expect our new machine?
Just as soon as possible, usually within 2 weeks and also based on availability and priorities that have been established for the initial implementation.
