Miscellaneous Employee Benefits

Auburn University Federal Credit Union
Payroll deduction is permitted for savings and loans, but all arrangements must be made through the Credit Union office. The Auburn University Credit Union can be contacted at 334-844-4120.

United States Savings Bonds
Monthly payroll deductions are available for United States Savings Bonds. Employees may request application forms from the Payroll and Employee Benefits office.

United Way
All faculty and staff on Auburn and Montgomery campuses are invited to participate in the annual United Way Fund Drive. The necessary pledge cards are distributed each fall by the United Way local representatives. These cards should be returned to the local representatives who will forward them to Payroll and Employee Benefits for payroll deduction.

Bookstore Discounts
A 10% discount off the total purchase price is offered to faculty and staff at the University Bookstore. Please contact the Bookstore at 334-844-4142 for further information.

Direct Deposit
All salary payments are made by direct deposit. A Direct Deposit Authorization form may be obtained from the Payroll Forms web page. For more information, please call the Payroll and Employee Benefits Office, 334-844-4183.

Long Term Care
Long term care insurance is provided by The Prudential Insurance Company of America. It is possible for you to purchase this portable coverage at group rates. You may also extend coverage to qualified family members, such as a spouse, parent, or grandparent.
