What is Healthy Tigers?
Healthy Tigers is wellness program run by Payroll and Employee Benefits to encourage AU employees to improve their health by making wise choices regarding physical and mental health. Healthy Tigers will work to provide information and links to all campus health resources.
Do I have to sign up for the individual programs?
It depends on the program. Some, such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama's Be Healthy require registration while others have limited enrollment.
Does it cost anything to participate in Healthy Tigers?
In general no, but some programs may have a fee or co-pay.
I need to have a medical screening done. Is this free?
Often screenings are free. Visit our screenings page and visit the links to determine individual program requirements.
I need to know exactly what my Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama insurance will cover. Where can I get more information?
