Employee Pharmacy offers workshop on 'Decreasing the Cost of Your Medications'
Participants can learn ways to lower the amount they pay at the pharmacy for the drugs they take by participating in the
"Decreasing the Cost of Your Medications" workshop. It will be presented by Dave Brackett, the Ambulatory Care Pharmacist
for the Auburn University Employee Pharmacy, on Thursday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the HRD Training Facility. This
session will discuss strategies for decreasing out-of-pocket cost of medications. To register in A-Train, go to the

AU & Scale Back Alabama
Again, Auburn University will be participating for 10 weeks with hundreds of other organizations in a statewide eight-loss program called "Scale Back Alabama." The goal of the contest is to get each individual on a team to lose one pound per week for a total of 10 pounds during the contest. Individuals on teams who complete the 10-week contest and lose at least 10 pounds may be eligible for drawings of 50 statewide prizes of $100 each or grand prizes of $250 - $1,000.
To participate, come to the following locations during the week of January 25-29th:
- Student Activities Building, Room 204 1:00-5:00p.m.
- AUPCC Pharmacy 9:00 - Noon
- Auburn University Medical Clinic from 8:30-10:00
