Open Enrollment OverOpen Enrollment for 2012 benefits is over! Remember to watch your paychecks in January (see the relevant deduction begin date under "Important Upcoming Dates") for the start date of your new deductions. If you have questions or concerns about your deduction amounts, be sure to contact Payroll and Employee Benefits within 30 days of the date of that first paycheck containing the 2012 benefit deductions. Retirement Changes/Form Deadline Effective January 2012, Auburn University will change several provisions of the Tax Deferred 403(b) and 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plans to simplify the design so as to increase participation and understanding of these supplemental retirement savings alternatives. Anyone wishing to contribute to either plan after December 31, 2011 must complete a new salary deferral agreement prior to November 30, 2011. Read more...
