Prior to filing the
Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) online, please review our FAFSA Checklist for tips on completing the FAFSA correctly. A FAFSA submitted online is processed by the Federal Processor much quicker than a paper FAFSA. In order to be considered for need-based scholarships, your FAFSA must be processed and received by our office on or before the priority deadline of March 1. Our office will send award offers beginning early April for students whose applications are complete at that time. An application is considered complete only when all forms or data needed to determine eligibility are received.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the only form that a student is required to complete to be considered for student assistance from any of the Title IV, HEA programs except for information needed to ensure the student's eligibility for such assistance (e.g., information needed to complete verification or to demonstrate compliance with the student eligibility provisions of the HEA and the regulations). Additional information, if requested, will be listed on the student's Tigeri Financial Aid Requirements page after we receive the results of the FAFSA.
Verification Worksheet - This form is required for students who have been selected for verification by the Federal Processor. Your Student Aid Report (SAR) will indicate if you have been selected for verification.

However, if you are required to complete the Verification Worksheet, you will complete Section F of the Verification Worksheet in place of this form.
Identity and Statement of Educational Purpose - If your Financial Aid Requirements page on Tigeri shows this form as requested, this is a requirement for you. This form is not required of all students. Please note that there are two options for completing this requirement, one if you are able to come to our office in person, and the other if you are not able to come to our office in person which involves a Notary.
