THE COSAM DROP-IN CENTER
The Office of Minority Programs
and Special Academic Projects is housed in
the College of Sciences and Mathematics Minority
Drop-In Center. The Center, established in
1994, occupies eight rooms including three
staff offices, a library, computer room, and
three study/workshop rooms on the first and
second floors of Saunders Hall. The Center
is the home of a comprehensive academic support
program for minority students in Sciences
and Mathematics. Program activities include
(1) Summer Bridge Program,
(2) Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics
Tutoring Workshops,
(3) Future Science, Engineering,
and Mathematics Faculty Club, (4) academic
advising and counseling, and (5) GRE and
MCAT Workshops. (6) Scholarships
and internships.
