THE COSAM DROP-IN CENTER
The Office of Minority Programs and Special Academic Projects is housed in the College of Sciences and Mathematics Minority Drop-In Center. The Center, established in 1994, occupies eight rooms including three staff offices, a library, computer room, and three study/workshop rooms on the first and second floors of Saunders Hall. The Center is the home of a comprehensive academic support program for minority students in Sciences and Mathematics. Program activities include (1) Summer Bridge Program , (2) Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics Tutoring Workshops , (3) Future Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Faculty Club , (4) academic advising and counseling, and (5) GRE and MCAT Workshops. (6) Scholarships and internships .
