THE PROGRAM
Students will take two classes designed to prepare them for courses in freshman calculus and chemistry. Each course will have a parallel workshop supplementing the classroom instruction. Regular faculty members teach the courses while graduate students will supervise the workshops. Through these courses and workshops, students will have an opportunity to improve their skills and be ready for freshman courses in Fall. This information will be used to determine which courses students should take.

The room and board expenses for each student will be paid. In addition, students will be loaned chemistry and mathematics textbooks.
