The next Lambda Tau meeting is this Thursday, October 16th
in Chemistry 134. If you get there at 5:30
p.m. you can have a bite of barbeque for dinner for the low
price of $3.00
At 6 p.m. we
have 2 drug chemists, Melissa and Sherwin, coming from the State Forensics
Lab here in Auburn to discuss
their careers as forensic scientists and share some case studies.
We will also hand out our new Lambda Tau jackets to
those who ordered and paid for them. If you would like your name
embroidered on your jacket, you can take it to American Embroidery (across
from Southern Trails on Magnolia Ave.)
and they will personalize your jacket for $5.00.
Finally, we will be collecting food for the AU vs. AL
Thanksgiving canned food drive. Be sure to get something appropriate for a Thanksgiving
meal, and bring a bunch so we can beat Alabama
at this, too!
