Undergraduate Degree in Geology
The curriculum gives the student a broad background in the geosciences, as well as an opportunity to specialize in an area of interest (i.e., environmental geology, paleontology) through
required geology courses, geology electives, and technical electives. The curriculum prepares the student for a range of employment possibilities with environmental or geological consulting companies, state or federal agencies, mining and oil companies,
