Vanderbilt University Department of Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center invites undergraduate students to perform research during the summer at Vanderbilt University, located in Nashville, TN

Minority Medical Education Program   this program is sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges, located at various medical schools including UAB 

University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, School of Medicine is offering induviduals the opportunity to undertake a physician-scientist training progam tailored to their specific research interest.

The Chester Summer Scholars Program sponsored by Metro Health Medical Foundation, offers undergraduate students the opportunity to spend ten weeks over the summer in clinical laboratory research settings. 

Harvard Medical School sponsors a 10 week Summer Honors Undergraduate Research Program with opportunities in a variety biological and biomedical sciences. 

Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine sponsors a Pre-Professional Internship Program which is designed to provide insight into the many facets of podiatric medicine and the education involved with obtaining the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree, located in Cleveland, Ohio.

Summer Institute in Anatomy at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine  The Institute will offer a four week Human Anatomy course in June, 2003, on the campus of the JHU School of Medicine in Baltimore.

National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates at University of South Alabama.  Female and minority students are specially encouraged to apply. The grant is designed to support underrepresented groups in science. 

Summer Minority Program at the University of Pittsburgh research program for college students who are members of a minority group that is historically underrepresented in the medical and scientific communities.

Gateways to the Laboratory Program sponsored by the Weill Cornell/Rockefeller/Sloan-Kettering Tri-Institutional MD-PhD Program in New York City. This ten week program allows freshman and sophomore underrepresented minority students to experience life as a MD-PhD student. 

Colonel Alexander W. Gentleman Cardiovascular Summer Student Program is sponsored by the Arizona Heart Institute Foundation which sponsors several programs to educate students about health and medicine. This six-week program exposes students to all aspects of cardiovascular medicine. 

The University of Iowa Summer Undergraduate MSTP Research Program An intensive experience for undergraduates interested in combined MD/PhD training for a career as a physician-scientist. The program provides students with experience in research laboratories and exposure to clinical medicine and medically-relevant research.

M. D. Anderson Cancer Center  A component of The University of Texas is now accepting applications for the 2003 Summer Research Program for College Students.  The purpose of the program is to interest and challenge qualified college students in biomedical research as it relates to cancer. 

The Travelers Summer Research Fellowship Program Is a program for premedical minority students that is designed to give participants deeper insights into the wide range of options that exist for minority physicians. 

Summer Scholars Program at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-COM) The Summer Scholars Program is a rigorous premedical program designed to enhance the preparation of students from disadvantaged backgrounds for admission to medical school.

University of Cincinnati College of Medicine offers two summer programs for undergraduate students interested in medicine and biomedical sciences.

The Office of Admissions at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School invites you to participate in a Summer Clinical Internship Program for undergraduates interested in careers in medicine.
