The Teachers' Museum
Welcome to the Teachers' Museum
Teachers are vital to the Museum. They are really partners with the Museum in bringing to the public the wealth of information stored within our walls. To recognize the special role that Teachers play, we have created a special membership category with unique benefits. In addition to the benefits afforded all Friends of the Museum Associates, educators are entitled to more substantial discounts on purchases in the Museum Shop (25%). They also receive special invitations to our special free Teacher Workshops, part of the outreach services of the Museum. Exploration Kits, useful in classrooms at many levels are offered to member Teachers at a 20% discount. Finally, when member Teachers schedule their students to visit the Museum for a tour, talk or other program, they receive special red carpet treatment.
We hope these special benefits will signal to teachers our appreciation and recognition of them. We are a public resource. A part of our purpose for being is to serve you and your students!
