Departmental Tutoring
Some of the COSAM departments offer tutoring programs. Take advantage of them as many are free services. Again, do not wait until you are helplessly lost; get help just as soon as you do not understand something. The services are as follows:
- Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry A resource facility, staffed by a Chemistry GTA, is open Monday-Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in CB156. There is no charge for this service.
- Department of Physics There are no formal services offered by the department. However, typically the Society of Physics Students does provide tutoring services for a reasonable fee. Also, the department maintains a list of tutors who offer fee-based tutoring services. Students may get information about these services in the Physics office, 206 Allison.
- Department of Mathematics and Statistics The Math Tutorial Center is open on Mondays from 2:00-7:00 and from 3:00 to 6:00 on Tuesday through Friday. The center is located in Parker
