Research Interests: 'CJ' is currently investigating the marine invertebrate fauna associated with marine mammal bone decomposition in the Gulf of Maine. Her experiments use both sheep and various marine mammal bones to attract invertebrates from the water column. In addition to tracking the general patterns of decomposition and invertebrate recruitment to these bones, she is specifically interested in studying siboglinid annelids from the genus Osedax, which have not been previously reported in the Gulf of Maine.
