Greater Eastern Alabama Regional Science & Engineering Fair
GEARSEF is a co-hosted with by COSAM and Auburn's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. This Regional ISEF Fair consists of 19 counties in Southeastern Alabama. The high school exhibitors who place 1st and 2ndare eligible to compete at the Alabama Science and Engineering Fair. In addition, the Region and State fairs name several exhibitors as International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) winners. Each ISEF winner receives an all expense-paid trip to ISEF that annually rotates within the United States. Millions of dollars in scholarships and awards are received at ISEF.
