Use the Cisco VPN software to join the wireless network with access to services other than http or mail. Or, connect from off-campus to access services that require a campus network connection. The latest Cisco VPN Client for Mac OS X 10.5 has been released and is available on this site. This new VPN Client fixes some bugs the last client left intact.

System Requirements
• Mac OS X 10.3 or later
• For wireless network connections, an AirPort Extreme card or AirPort card.
• For wireless connections, AirPort 4.1 for Mac OS X.

1. Download and install the Cisco VPN software. You need to restart your computer when installation is complete.

2. Connect to the wireless network (wireless only) or connect to the Internet (off-campus): For wireless connections, see To Connect to the Wireless Network on the right side of this page. For off-campus connections, connect to the Internet as you usually would.

3. Open the VPN Client from the Applications folder. Select wireless or off-campus and click Connect. Use your Auburn name and password to authenticate.

To end your VPN session, click Disconnect.
