Peer Mentor/Mentee Program Overview and Application

 

Adjusting to college life at Auburn may be difficult and challenging.  Getting to know new roommates, classmates; adjusting to class schedules and course loads; and the campus may have been overwhelming for you.  Finding those people who have had a few years of college experience helped to take away some of that freshman anxiety.  Now it’s your turn to be that guiding light for someone by becoming a PASS Mentor!

Mission of the PASS Mentor/Mentee Program:

 

To Promote Academic Success for Minority Students in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) by providing a healthy learning and social environment for minority freshmen paired with upper classmen in their major areas for a smooth transition into college. The program will provide a “family” away from home environment to help freshmen reach their potential in order to increase the graduation rate and the retention rate of minority students at Auburn University.
