2010 Davis Arboretum Photo Contest

The Davis Arboretum’s annual photo contest provides us with a lot of good images to choose from when we put our yearly calendar together. Nine of the monthly pages in this year’s calendar feature entries from the 2009 photo contest. Last year for the first time, all the entries were displayed in the main hallway of Biggin Hall for a week. Several art classes were given assignments relating to the exhibit and a ballot box was in place so everyone could vote for their favorite. This was entitled “The People’s Choice Award”. We look forward to having the photographs displayed again in Biggin Hall for this year’s contest and appreciate the Art Department’s willingness to work with us.

For the 2010 photo contest, we will display the entries in Biggin Hall from April 23rd until May 5th. The award ceremony will take place April 29th at Biggin Hall. Awards will begin at 5:00 PM.
