We are here to help you identify plants, locate specimen information, and answer general questions about botany.  Depending on the type of request and how busy we are please allow us some time to respond to your inquiry.
    Please contact us to arrange for tours or programs for school groups.  If you are on the Auburn University campus you may stop by and visit at 138 Funchess Hall.  Other than exceptions for field work, library research, etc. the Freeman Herbarium is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. until about 4:30 p.m.  We are closed everyday for lunch, around 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.  It's a good idea to call before coming to confirm that someone will be here to help you.
