Auburn Marines

GENERAL

This organization is comprised of students who are pursuing a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps while completing their undergraduate degree. "Semper Fidelis," Latin for "Always Faithful," seeks to strengthen the core values of honor, courage and commitment, that the nation expects of men and women who aspire to be Marines.

FOCUS

Semper Fidelis focuses on the social and professional development of future Marine Officers. Together with the Marine Platoon, Semper Fidelis helps produce a well rounded, well educated officer that will make Marines that will win our nation's battles.

MEETINGS

Our meetings alternate between official business meetings and informal social events. Occasionally, guests will be invited to speak to the organization. Each semester we will adjust the meeting schedule to ensure that we can maximize the participation of our members.

EVENTS

Semper Fidelis sponsors several events throughout the year. This year we sponsored/are sponsoring the Marine Corps Birthday Ball, Warrior Night, W. E. Winter Field Meet, and the local Toys for Tots drive.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to those actively seeking a commission in the United States Marine Corps. If you are interested in joining the Mu Chapter (Auburn) of the Semper Fidelis Society, please contact the Vice President at SSgt Popham.
