Master Sergent Jeffrey Davis
Senior Military Science Instructor

MSG Jeffrey C. Davis is a native of Avon Park, Florida. He enlisted into the United States Army as an M1 Armor Crewman (19K) on January 10, 1996. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland University College and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Homeland Security.

MSG Davis’ initial assignment was with Alpha Company 2/13 Armor where he completed One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. From May 1996 thru May 2001 he was assigned to M Co 3/3 Armored Cavalry Regiment in Fort Carson, Colorado where he served as a Tank Loader, Tank Gunner and Tank Commander. In April 2000, he deployed to Bosnia with 3/3 Armored Cavalry Regiment as part of SFOR 7. In June 2001 he was assigned to C Troop 1/11 Armored Cavalry Regiment in Fort Irwin, California where he served as an OPFOR Tank Commander and Troop Master Gunner. In October 2003 he was assigned to A Co 2/72 Armor in Camp Casey, Korea where he served as a Tank Platoon Sergeant and Company Master Gunner. In August 2004 he deployed with 1/9 IN, 2 BDE, 2ID from Korea to Al Habbaniyah, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II and participated in Operation Phantom Fury in Al Fallujah, Iraq. In October 2005 he was assigned to the 2nd Armor Training Brigade as an AC/RC Observer Controller in Fort Carson, Colorado.  In June 2008 he returned to Camp Casey, Korea where he served as the Company First Sergeant in HHC 302D Brigade Support Battalion. In July 2009 he was assigned to Apache Troop, 3-7 Cavalry, 3ID in Fort Stewart, Georgia as the Troop First Sergeant where he deployed to Mosul, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom VII and Operation New Dawn.

MSG Davis’ military schools consist of the Senior Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Warrior Leaders Course, Airborne School and the M1 / M1A1 Abrams Master Gunner Course.

MSG Davis’ awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (1 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (2 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (2 OLC), Meritorious Unit Citation, Navy Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal (5th award), National Defense Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (1 star), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 3), Overseas Ribbon (numeral 4), NATO Medal, Combat Action Badge and the Order of Saint George (bronze medallion).
