What can I expect of my Study Partners Tutor?

Every partner has been highly recommended by professors. They must have and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and each tutor typically made an "A" in the class they tutor. From them you can expect confidentiality, respect, patience, and a concentrated effort to aid in your understanding of difficult material. They will help you with study skills, and identify learning obstacles and ways to overcome them. They possess good communication skills, and model good student behaviors. However, they will not do your homework for you, rescue you, take responsibility for your learning, nor have all the answers to every question.
