Caitlin is a junior from Solon, Ohio majoring in General Social Science/History Education. After graduation, she plans on becoming a middle school or high school history teacher. An interesting fact about Caitlin is that this past summer she went to Iceland on her first overseas trip. What she likes best about tutoring is the moment in a tutoring session when the student gets that "aha" moment about the material they are studying.
Dion is a junior from Huntsville, Alabama majoring in pre-med. After graduation he plans to attend medical school. An interesting fact about Dion is that he has played hockey for ten years now and he is also on the Auburn hockey team.
Dixson is a sophomore from Birmingham, Alabama majoring in math and spanish. After graduation she plans to attend graduate school for Spanish education or for English as a second language (ESL). An interesting fact about Dixson is that she plans on living in the Dominican Republic for a large portion of her life.
Elizabeth is a junior from St. Louis, Missouri majoring in Accounting. On campus she is involved in Omega Phi Alpha, Beta Alpha Psi, Women's Hope, and Honors Congress. Three study strategies that have helped her perform well in class are: read the chapter before class, do homework/practice problems even if they are not due, and start studying at least a week in advance for the test.
Kevin is a sophomore from Mobile, Alabama double majoring in Chemistry and Spanish. After graduation, he plans to attend medical school. An interesting fact about Kevin is that he loves learning languages, infact he speaks Spanish and English, knows basic French and Sign Language, and even tried Russian. Zak is a sophomore from Hoover, Alabama majoring in Accounting. On campus, he is invovled as the treasurer of AUSIS and a member of the FLS. He was awarded with being on the Dean's list in Fall 2012, Spring 2013, and Fall 2013.
