Students in Living and Learning Communities with a Village residential option will be assigned based on availability, due to new construction.

1. Navigate to http://www.auburn.edu in your web browser.

2. Click “AU Access” in the upper right-hand corner of the AU Home Page.

3. Enter your AU User Name (e.g. if your AU email address is “tig1234@auburn.edu,” your User Name is “tig1234”), and password. Then click the “Login Now” button. If you do not know your User Name or password, please call the Office of Information Technology HelpDesk at 334.844.4944.
4. Click the “tiger i” tab. Next, scroll down to the “Student Orientation Registration” channel on the right-hand side of the page. Click the “Learning Communities Application” link.
5. Use the drop-down menus to indicate your top three Learning Community preferences. Only Learning Communities for which you qualify will be listed. Learning Communities with “(Quad),” “(Hill),” or “(Village)” notations are for students who have been guaranteed on-campus housing and prefer to live in the same residential area with other members of that Learning Community. Learning Communities without any additional notation are for students who either plan to live off-campus or plan to live on-campus but do not prefer to live with other members of that Learning Community.

NOTE: YOU MUST BE GUARANTEED ON-CAMPUS HOUSING TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE “(Quad),” “(Hill),” or “(Village)” OPTIONS. If you do not know whether you have been guaranteed on-campus housing, please email AU Housing at housing@auburn.edu or call 334.844.4580. You can still select an on-campus option even if your requested roommate does not join a learning community. If we are unable to assign you to live with your Learning Community in your preferred area, then the preferences listed on your housing application will be taken into consideration.

6. Click the “Continue” button to apply.

You will get a confirmation message on the next screen, and an email containing the same information will be sent to your TigerMail (AU email, i.e. userid@auburn.edu) account. If you are unable to access your TigerMail account, please call the Office of Information Technology HelpDesk at 334.844.4944.

Information about your application status, including whether you have been accepted into the Learning Community for which you applied, will also be sent to your TigerMail account. Application decisions will be made in early to mid-May.

If you have any questions, please contact Academic Support by phone at 334.844.5972, by email at lc@auburn.edu, or access our web site at http://www.auburn.edu/lc.
