ALL learning communities will have housing options in each housing area:
Village, Quad and Hill. You will designate on our application if you wish to live
with your community and if so, in which housing area.
Welcome to the Learning Communities at Auburn University!Make your freshman year the best it can be through Learning Communities! LCs allow students to start off on the right foot through pre-registered classes, supportive professors and optional social events. We offer several types of Learning Communities in order for everyone to find their place at Auburn. Each Learning Community consists of 20-25 students sharing several classes. These classes are focused around a central topic or theme including a University course. University courses address ways to successfully transition to college. These classes are taught by professors and peer instructors who are involved in the Learning Community and take special interest in each student’s success.
