The curriculum in Entrepreneurship and Family Business offers students the opportunity to learn to develop their entrepreneurial talents while providing solid foundation of business management. Both entrepreneurs and family business executives face many risks and challenges regarding finances, legal issues, and marketing to name a few. The major is comprised of courses in new venture creation, franchising, small business finance, corporate venturing and family business management. All functional areas of business are potential entry areas, and for students returning to family firms, senior-level position assignments are possible.
