Peer Instructor Responsibilities

Serve as a peer mentor

• Make an effort to get to know each student

• Share student perspective on issues

• Be available to students in and out of class

• Maintain appropriate boundaries with students

Serve as a role model

• Be an example of an Auburn Man or Woman

• Refrain from passing judgement both in and out of class

• Represent yourself appropriately at all times including online

Help facilitate instruction of the course

• Attend all class sessions

• Attend weekly planning meetings with instructor

• Plan activities and lessons for class

• Lead activities and discussions in class

• Bridge gap between instructor and students
