What is a Learning Community?
  • Unique academic opportunities for first year Auburn students
  • Comprised of 20-25 students who are co-enrolled in three core courses surrounding a particular theme or interest
  • Cohort courses fulfill major or core requirements
  • Supportive environment to help transition to college
  • Exposed to small community of peers with similar academic interests
  • Supporting network of fellow students, peer educators, and professors

    How do I join?
  • Applications are accepted each spring for the next academic year.
  • Application opens in early February and are accepted until all spaces are filled.
  • Email us at lc@auburn.edu to sign up for our priority notification list to be notified when our website is updated for 2013 and when the application becomes available.
