Camp War Eagle is Auburn’s summer orientation experience for incoming freshmen. CWE is a 2-day, 1-night program intended to familiarize incoming students with Auburn’s campus, traditions, and numerous student services and programs. The program also assists in easing the transition from high school to college life. Also during CWE, students will meet with their Academic Advisor from their college or school and register for fall classes. Camp War Eagle is offered in eight sessions each summer with an informative parent program running concurrently to each student session.
SOS (Successfully Orienting Students) is Auburn’s orientation program for incoming transfer students. SOS is a one-day orientation program designed to make Auburn’s new students feel welcome and introduce them to the many traditions, services, and programs offered on Auburn’s beautiful campus. During SOS, students attend information sessions, take tours of campus, and meet with their Academic Advisor from their college or school. There is also a parent program that runs concurrently to each SOS session. SOS is offered on various dates during the spring, summer, and fall semesters.
