UPC, more formally known as the University Program Council, is an organization like no other. With roots based in entertainment and activities, UPC provides a different kind of service to the Auburn student body. There are eleven committees in UPC. These wide range of programming and support committees are able to bring a diverse group of events to Auburn. Programming committees include Films, Fine Arts, Major Entertainment, Speakers and Comedians, Special Projects, and Tiger Nights. However, these would not be possible without the support committees: Publicity, Public Relations, Research, Tech, and Volunteers. All of the committees are working toward a common goal of bringing entertainment and activities to the Auburn campus. Past events include Open Mic Night, Battle of the Bands, and Tiger Nights; which is a fun filled event that features inflatables, food, and live entertainment. In addition, UPC also hosts major concerts every year that, in the past, have included the Goo Goo Dolls, OAR, and T-Pain! UPC also hosts many smaller events such as Painting on the Plains, cooking workshops, and feature film showings. There are many ways to get involved in UPC as a freshman including attending events, interviewing for UPC committee, or taking our surveys to let us know what events you want. Our applications for committee will be available August 1st and will be due August 30th.
