Staff had a lot to discuss during Monday’s CWE meeting. This week is the first training for our 20, new Parent Counselors! We are so excited to begin training and get to know them. The HPCs covered topics regarding training, icebreakers, and selections summary. Looking forward to their spring training!
We then began talking about CC Training. We discussed various after training social plans and ideas for Stanzas 6 through 8 of the Creed. AU Knowledge tests are now in final mode for the Camp Counselors and beginning for the Parent Counselors. Starting this week, staff is going to upload a podcast with various AU Knowledge information to assist in the learning process. The “Real World” and “War Eagle Welcome” skit practices are well underway. The groups are making progress on writing segments of the skit. We then discussed Tiger Talk Training and its delivery strategies. Flapjack Fest planning is now in progress. Staff updated everyone on everything from t-shirt design to publicity strategies. Since spring is just around the corner, staff continued discussion on the CWE Schedule, various ideas, and updates on spring assignments. Needless to say, a very productive meeting!
