CWE: 2/15/10

This week, the CWE staff is looking forward to Parent Counselor Call Outs. The HPCs have definitely worked extremely hard to have the best PC team this year. They are nailing down all of the final details for selections and call outs. Staff then discussed our annual Flapjack Fest and an update on initial t-shirt ideas and theme.  Then we covered everything from training to this summer’s schedule. Skit practices and spring assignments are going in progress and going well. Coming soon…CWE 2010 t-shirt design!

SOS: 2/17/10

SOS Staff continue to discuss OL Training and how everything’s going. Since the first SOS Session is coming up soon, we are all focusing on fine-tuning the OL’s small group discussion and tour giving abilities. It is so important that the new OLs feel comfortable and confident enough to run a Session with a group of peers. We also talked about the post session social and made some final decisions. This year the SOS Staff will be working briefing and packet stuffing in a different way. The OLs will be given the opportunity to sign up for various shifts to meet before a Session, instead of a mandatory set time for everyone. It’s new, so we are looking forward to see how well it works.
