Staff Meeting: 11/10/09
SOS:
The SOS Staff started off first-round interviews for SOS Orientation Leader this week. The group process was something new and different we decided to try out. It was interesting to see, turned out well, and we received some great feedback. Then we talked about second round interviews and selections meetings. This time next week we will have new Orientation Leaders! We also discussed the schedule for Friday’s SOS Session and worked through the things to do.
CWE:
All of the HCC’s hard work paid off; we now have our 36 2010 Camp Counselors! We couldn’t be happier! We all are super excited to start getting to know them and looking forward to spring training. Since Callouts are now behind us, we must now focus on the future. The CWE Staff is in the process of discussing various topics and delegating different assignments of the Spring and Summer.
On the other side of CWE, the Head Parent Counselors are now beginning discussion of publicity strategies. They have great ideas in the making! We all are looking forward to see their success next semester.
Staff Meetings: 11/17/09
SOS:
The SOS Staff is busy but very excited about this week. 2nd Round interviews for SOS Orientation Leaders were held Monday through Wednesday. SOS Callouts are on Thursday, November 19, 2009. The SOS Staff couldn’t be happier about getting the new Orientation Leaders!
CWE:
We began this week’s staff meeting with the Head Parent Counselors and their updates. They ran through their Info. Session and corrected what was needed. Our HPCs are also already on the ball with publicity for nest semester. They have everything from vinyl banners to Aubie at basketball games holding signs for PC applications and info. We also assigned the HPCs selections assignments to be in charge of. On the flip side of CWE, the HCCs are now in Spring and Summer mode. We are discussing assignments and ideal CWE schedules for 2010. The HCCs are so excited about their new Camp Counselors that they are planning a few socials so everyone can start getting to know their fellow counselors and staff.
Next week we will not meet; we all will be celebrating the Thanks giving holiday with family and friends.
