9/28 Staff Meetings

This semester we have SOS and Camp War Eagle staff meetings on Tuesdays. SOS is at 9am and Camp is at 3:15pm. We thought we’d start blogging little updates following staff meetings each week. Enjoy!

In our SOS Staff meeting on Tuesday morning, September 29, we were busy discussing how we can improve SOS and its publicity. There is a SOS Session coming around the corner on November 13, 2009, so we opened the floor for new ideas. We talked through the previous session, and figured out what needs improving and what worked great. These past few meetings the staff has been focusing on SOS publicity for our new Orientation Leaders. That is the ultimate goal right now. The Orientation Leader Coordinators are enthusiastic and full of great ideas. Our “publicity blitz” will be next Thursday, October 8, so look out for SOS information around campus. Also be on the look out at the Ole Miss game for our Jumbotron video, we are super excited about it!

This week everyone is excited about Camp War Eagle and its future camp counselors! The camp counselor applications are out NOW! In the CWE staff meeting we had lots to cover. Our HCCs are still publicizing CWE and getting ready for the next few weeks. So, look out for CWE info all around campus and the town. Talk of selections and callouts are getting the staff pumped about the new year. Info sessions are starting, so we can get awesome new Camp Counselors for 2010!
