• Put CWE Parking Pass and other information in a safe place. After you are registered for CWE, you will receive important information about CWE in the mail; some of the materials will be needed the day of CWE. There will be extra permits available in the parking lots if you misplace yours.

• Take the Math Placement Test online. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics requires all entering first-year students to take a Mathematics Placement Exam to ensure correct placement in college-level math courses. Your score on the placement exam will allow you to enroll in the right course during CWE. You can access the Math Placement Test through this website (Link to Math placement exam website- http://www.auburn.edu/~smith01/mathexam). Students who do not complete the test will be placed in a math class that does not meet the CORE math requirement.

• Send medical documentation to Auburn University Medical Clinic. Medical forms can be accessed through the AU Medical Clinic website here. The forms may be Faxed, Mailed, e-mailed or hand delivered to the Medical Clinic.

• Decide where you will live in the fall. There are many places to live, on and off campus, at Auburn. There are currently three housing areas on campus: The Hill, The Quad, and The Village. If you are interested in living on campus, the Housing and Residence Life website is a good place to start (https://fp.auburn.edu/housing/ ). They have helpful information about living on campus and how to apply. During CWE, there is an opportunity for you to see various off campus living at CWE’s Business Fair. The Business Fair will be on the second day of CWE. If you have any other questions about housing at CWE, our Camp Counselors and Parent Counselors would love to help you out!

• Collect AP/IB scores and transcripts. If you have any questions regarding scores and transcripts, the Registrar’s Office Website will be of great help to you. http://www.auburn.edu/administration/registrar/

• Memorize the login and password for your AU Access (tiger i) account. If you forget your password, Contact the Registrar's Office (334-844-4770) or the OIT HelpDesk (334-844-4944) for a reset. Be prepared to verify your identity. Remember, this is the key to registering for classes on the last day of CWE.

• CWE Parking Pass. This is important because CWE students and guests will only be allowed to park in designated areas.
  
  
• Small amount of cash for activities. During CWE, students will have various late-night options and some concessions may be open. Of course, dining and shopping in downtown Auburn is always fun after CWE.
  
  
• Medication. Bring any medication you may need to CWE.  
  
  
• Water bottle. Auburn is hot during the summer and many of the CWE events are outside. Water is great to have to keep hydrated throughout the day.

• Pay attention to CWE parking signs/directions. CWE students and guests will be parking in designated areas.
  
  
•  Get your Tiger Card and Auburn Ignited card. The Tiger Card office is located on the 2nd floor of the Auburn University Student Center. The Auburn Ignited Card office is located in the Athletics Complex on the corner of Donahue and Samford. The best time to do this during CWE is, Monday/Thursday after lunch or Tuesday/Friday after registration.
  
  
•  Register. With the help from academic advisors, you register for at least 15 class hours.

• Submit medical documentation.  If not already completed, send medical documents to the Med Clinic no later than 30 days after your CWE session. Medical forms can be accessed through the AU Medical Clinic website. (cws.auburn.edu/aumc).
  
  
•  Parking permit .You can purchase your parking permit through your AU Access (Tiger i) account. Hangtags must be preordered online beginning July 19th, and can be picked up at the Coliseum beginning August 2nd, or at the Tiger Transit trailer at the corner of Graves and Duncan Drives.

• Football tickets. AU Ignited card is now used for your football tickets. You can purchase tickets online in mid-July through your AU Access (Tiger i) account. • Contact roommates. Touch base with your roommate(s) to plan your packing/shopping lists
  
  
• Stay in touch.  Keep the communication between your Camp Counselor and CWE group going.

What to Bring to Camp War Eagle

PLEASE PACK LIGHTLY.

• Wear and pack comfortable clothes. You will be walking around campus and participating in various activities throughout CWE.
• Pack with bags. Everything you bring needs to be packed in a bag of some sort.
• Please bring no more than one suitcase and one personal size bag. Please put all your clothes, bedding, and personal items inside the two bags you bring.

The following guide can assist you in knowing what to bring for CWE:

Day one

• You will spend most the day and evening outside. In the evening you will be required to wear the CWE t-shirt you get upon arrival. One option this night is to play basketball/volleyball, so bring appropriate shoes and clothes if you want to do this.

Day two

• You will be inside for the majority of the day but will spend a little time outside.

Other things to pack:

• Bedding (twin sheets/blanket or sleeping bag and pillow)
• A towel/washcloth
• Toiletries (soap, toothbrush, etc)
• You are discouraged from bringing valuable items (laptop, iPod, jewelry, etc) to Camp.

Remember: No more than one suit-case and one personal size bag. EVERYTHING must be in a bag, including all your bedding.
